Artist Bio

Kizomba and Urban kiz instructor based in Ottawa, Canada.

Elvis is an Ottawa Kizomba and Urban Kiz instructor who has been in the kizomba scene since 2016. Trained and taught by Lindsay Hutton, his goal has been to build and support his community through teaching at Toca Ottawa Kizomba school and providing workshops locally and across Canada since 2017.

Originating from Congo, dance has been an integral part of his life since the age of four. Growing up, he found that dance laid at the heart of his culture and community. Now, he focuses on creating connection and bringing his Congolese culture and flavour into each dance.

The man is best known for his infectious, positive energy on the dance floor. With his unique blended style of urban and kizomba, smiles are guaranteed when you dance with Elvis. You can find him on a dancefloor at any point during a social or online at @KingElvisto on Instagram.
