🍁 September is all about Kizomba!!! Ashby Laine will be here for the entire month to share her knowledge with us; check out her bio below ⬇️. If you are new to dancing Kizomba, or are eager to improve your skills, don't miss out on this opportunity! She will be teaching Beginner & Intermediate Kizomba on Mondays, and Kizomba Lead/Follow Intensives on Thursdays. 💃

***Class Offerings***

⭐️ Beginner Kizomba:
~ Mondays Sept 9, 16, 23, 30 from 6:30-7:45 pm
~ No previous experience or partner needed
~ Includes 15 min practica afterwards
~ Fee: $125 (5 hours of instruction)
🌟 Intermediate Kizomba:
~ Mondays Sept 9, 16, 23, 30 from 8:00-9:15 pm
~ Previous experience needed (beginner foundations with SasKiz or case-by-case approval). Should be familiar with Basics, including Virgula, Retrocesso, and Saidas.
~ Includes 15 min practica beforehand
~ Registrants are encouraged to attend Beginner Kizomba as well (complimentary)
~ Fee: $140 (5 hours of instruction, as well as entrance to beginner class)
✨ Lead/Follow Intensives:
~ Thursdays Sept 5, 12, 19, 26
~ Follows = 6:30-8:00 pm
~ Leads = 7:30-9:00 pm
~ Previous experience needed (beginner foundations with SasKiz or case-by-case approval). Should be familiar with Basics, including Virgula, Retrocesso, and Saidas.
~ Fee: $175 (6.5 hours of instruction) or $260 for both Intermediate Kizomba and the Lead/Follow Intensives (11.5 hours)
👀 All students of Ashby will also get a $20 discount on the upcoming Semba Weekender Sept 27-29th in Saskatoon.
Payment plans are available! Please reach out with questions. Not able to participate in the entire session? Drop-ins are possible for both Beginner and Intermediate Kizomba if you have previous experience. (not for the lead/follow intensives)

Ashby’s contagious smile will have you feeling comfortable dancing in no time! Whether it is semba, kizomba, movement or beyond, Ashby brings strong teaching ability and unique exercises and explanations to any class she instructs.
Ashby's kizomba journey began in Boston in 2014, and has since taken her around the world. She has been fortunate to train with, learn from and teach with many talented dancers from Europe and the USA.
Ashby has a professional background in training and teaching, which adds a unique perspective to her teaching methods. Ashby is inspired by the beautiful women she encounters in the kizomba world, and seeks to connect with and guide other women to grow. She is known for her passion for sharing valuable and relevant tools to follows in class - an important piece so often neglected.
