Jumptown Jam 2024

Jumptown Swing is a not for profit organisation run by a group of fabulous volunteers. We have also been teaching swing for the last 20 years as well as putting on first-class events in Canberra since 2003. With our events we strive to offer value, cover off all the little details and ensure it’s a magical weekend for attendees and also our guest teachers and musicians.

We love bringing the best talent to Australia and Canberra. Since 2007, we have brought out over 60 international and Australian guest teachers to the Jumptown Jam including the very ‘swing famous’ US musician Gordon Webster from 2011 – 2014. The Jumptown Jam focuses on swing dance and vernacular jazz dancing workshops. Jumptown is also responsible for putting on the very popular social dancing weekend each year Canberräng since 2003.
