Excited to announce FusionVibe 10, a Fusion & Micro Social Dance on June 1st in Los Angeles, California. Intro to Urban Kiz class included with entry! First-time fusion dancers can attend for free.
FusionVibe 10 Details:
When: Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 8:20pm-12:40am
Where: ViBE - dance studio & creative space: 2939 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064
-Free and plentiful parking lot right outside the studio. Entrance is from the back behind retail stores. Studio is nicely located near the 405 and 10 freeways.

-Urban Kiz class with Stephany Estrin: 8:20pm-9:10pm
-Social Dance with DJ F&F 9:10pm-11:00pm & DJ Shelly 11:00pm-12:40am. Music will be a mix of Fusion and Kiz.

More Specifics:
-Price: $15 (pre-pay: before 9:30pm of event night / class attendance) or $20 (9:30pm onward). Yes, it is cheaper to pre-pay and/or take the class! First-time fusion dancers enter for free.

-No food or drinks inside the space, water will be provided.
-Due to the cozy space, please arrive early if possible as we have a limited capacity dance floor.
-Please no big dancing or lifts on the dance floor; artwork, statues and props are located all around the space that can easily break.
-Please do not touch the mirrors or sit on the counters with the statues and artwork.
-Please respect and be kind to one another.
-Anyone who wants to volunteer for entry into the dance, please reach out. Thank you!

Fusion Dance:
Fusion dance is a world in which everyone is free to express themselves through movement, regardless of their dance background and experience. Unlike more “codified” dances, fusion has relatively few technical limitations, for example there are no basic steps or predetermined passes. The movements are free, inspired or not by other dances, primarily driven by feeling, inspiration, connection with partners and music. Often danced in pairs in the configuration of a couple dance, it can also be danced solo, in threes, ... The principle of fusion is to create, to explore and to share on the music. Among the dances that can inspire the world of fusion are blues, tango, west coast swing, Brazilian zouk, kizomba, forró, trad, contact dance, solo dances...

Micro dance is based on the practice of small, often subtle movements. Breathing and isolations are tools that can be used in the experimentation of this dance. It allows one to focus on the listening of the music, one’s own movement and that of the partners. The subtlety of the movements provides the opportunity to develop intense connections and amplified sensations. It is difficult to describe this world in words or even to capture it in images. To truly discover it...come and experience.
