Blues Jazz Festival Annual

Greyfriars Charteris Centre, Pleasance, Edinburgh, UK

A 3-night weekend of blues and fusion dance parties with live music in Edinburgh (Auld Reekie) on 12-14 July 2024. Coinciding with the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival (EJBF) opening weekend.

Like previous events that we have run, the music will be mostly blues (about 70%) with the fusion element being any non-blues music that we think you'll like to dance to.

NOTE: the venue does NOT have a bar. We will have access to a small kitchen, please plan ahead to BYO.

Party schedule:
Fri 7pm to 1am - live music TBC
Sat 8pm to 3am - live music from Ali Affleck & band, PLUS 1am set from Brodie Barclay
Sun 8pm to 1am - live music from Derek Smith & Jim Harcus

Daytime plans:
Saturday - 1-4pm dance bomb at the EJBF Mardi Gras [FREE]
Sunday - 2-5pm Blues & Fusion "Brunch" [Free / nominal charge]

Registration is now open for full weekend [£55 standard/£60 patron/£35 no&low income] and Friday+Saturday [£40] passes. Individual nights will go on sale soon.
