Clara Ramos 
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Clara started learning ballet at the age of 4, taking classes at Ballet School Santo Domingo, Ballet Clara Elena Ramirez, Ballet Concierto Dominicano and Ballet Studio Doris Infante. At age 19, Clara auditioned and was selected to join the Company Ballet Nacional Dominicano. There she danced in the following ballets: Gisselle, Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, the Nutcracker, Paquita and The Corsair and performed as Principal Dancer in the ballets Don Quixote as Kitri and Coppelia as Swanilda. 
Since a very early age, Clara loved to dance Merengue, Salsa and Bachata at family events. She took her first Salsa On1 lesson at 13 years old at La Academia de Chicha and returned to this studio years later to assist with general classes. In 2014, she started dancing professionally at On2 Dance Studio with Rafael Tejeda as Director and in 2016 she joined Yamulee Dance Company in New York City.  
Clara has been teaching and performing with Al Rivera since 2022.
