WELCOME to the official Facebook event page for Zouk Flow Experience 2023 Spring Edition, a joint production of Future Zouk & Cult of Zouk hosted by Viva Dance Studio of 1541 E 38 St. in Cleveland, OH! We are bringing back the biggest Brazilian zouk and flow arts weekender series in the eastern Midwest for the spring season, featuring 10+ Brazilian zouk workshops from absolute beginner to advanced difficulty, multiple social dancing parties, plus special focus on zouk adjacent flow arts like acro yoga! Get ready for 20+ hours of zouk flow goodness featuring for the first time ever in the Midwest the directors of O.W. Dance Company and current Brazilian Zouk World Championship Showtime Division winners, Robinson & Larissa (São Paulo / Miami), plus Parker Amsel (Cleveland, OH), Just Jacob (Chicago, IL), and more special guest artists than any other instance of this event so far--PLUS Saturday evening performances featuring Myriah & Jeff, Parker & Lisa, Christie & Jazmine, Tabitha & Terry, and more! SCHEDULE (4/6 Draft)
+ FRI 4/28 (7p to 12a EST) - 4+ hours kickoff evening social dance flow party plus bundled, all levels drop-in Brazilian zouk workshop by Robinson & Larissa (São Paulo / Miami), touring the Midwest for the first time ever at Viva Dance Studio! Optional BYOB after-party immediately following at The Bird's Nest of 1516 E 36th St in Cleveland, OH!
+ SAT 4/29 (11:30a to 1a EST) - 8+ hours all levels to advanced difficulty Brazilian zouk and flow arts workshops, contact improv jams, and small group masterclasses followed by 4+ hours evening social dance flow party with Robinson & Larissa, Y & Myriah, Helen, Emily, Michal, Parker, Just Jacob, and friends! Optional after-party immediately following at Hannah's house, address will be communicated day of to all attenders.
+ SUN 4/30 (11:30a to 8p+ EST) - 6+ hours all levels to advanced difficulty Brazilian zouk and flow arts workshops with bundled, afternoon practica with with Robinson & Larissa, Sean & Brittany, Helen, Cary & Lola, Parker, Just Jacob, and friends! Official after-party at Olga's house, address will be communicated day of to all attenders!

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
+ All attenders regardless of vaccination status or masking preference must still pass a negative COVID test with results no greater than 72 hours before event participation. Note: PCR, rapid antigen, and saliva tests all accepted including FDA approved over the counter self-test kit results but NOT antibody test.
+ Attenders are welcome to use masks (or request such from dance partners), but we won't enforce them for this event.
+ Reduced indoor capacity and facilities thoroughly cleaned throughout the event with hand sanitizing encouraged in the event of partner switching.
+ All participant names, emails, and phone numbers confidentially recorded to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary.

CONFIRMED ARTISTS
+ Robinson & Larissa (São Paulo / Miami) - Teaching all levels to advanced Brazilian zouk content for their very first tour through the Midwest! Directors of the O.W. Dance Company and current winners of the Brazilian Zouk World Championship Showtime Division, they recently relocated from São Paulo to Miami to share their artistry and passion for dance more closely with U.S. based students.
+ Emily Liptow (Cleveland, OH) - Contact improvisation dancer and organizer of Contact Improv Cleveland celebrating their debut appearance teaching at ZFXP!
+ Michal Schorsch (Cleveland, OH) - Celebrating their debut appearance teaching Contact Improv at ZFXP following exciting residencies on the East Coast and Pacific Northwest!
+ Y & Myriah (Cleveland, OH) - Assistant organizing and teaching all levels Brazilian zouk content!
+ Sean & Brittany (Columbus, OH) -Teaching all levels Brazilian zouk content for their debut appearance at ZFXP!
+ Lola & Cary (Cleveland, OH) - Teaching intermediate acro yoga!
+ Helen Bednarz (Cleveland, OH) - Leading morning yoga warmup Saturday and Sunday!
+ Parker Amsel (Cleveland, OH) - Lead organizing, DJaying, and teaching all levels to advanced Brazilian zouk content!
+ Just Jacob (Chicago, IL) - Lead organizing, DJaying, and teaching all levels to advanced Brazilian zouk content!
