West Coast Swing Dance

Come out to Bonnie Doon Community League for an awesome night of West Coast Swing dancing!

West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in Lindy Hop. One of the things that make West Coast Swing unique is that it isn’t defined by a single music style and can be danced to most kinds of popular music. This social dance has a very strong improvisational aspect that allows partners the freedom to co-create which is what allows each dancer to showcase their unique style.

You do not need to come with a partner as we rotate partners throughout the dance class and social dancing portion, though if you do come with a partner, you have the option not to rotate.

• 7:00 pm - Doors Open
• 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm - Beginner Warmup Lesson
• 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm - Beyond Beginner Moves
• 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm - Social Dancing

Admission is $10 at the door (Cash or Debit).
