Toca Ottawa Kizomba Tuesdays - 6 Week Series

Welcome to the Fall classes at Toca Ottawa Kizomba

- 6-week session -

Location: Bronson Centre

Cost: $100 for full session per class

Drop-in: $25 per class

* For intermediate students registered in the 8:30 class, there is an opportunity to register for the beginner 7 p.m. class as well to reinforce your basics for an extra $60 (instead of the full price).

Time: Classes are from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Semba/Kizomba 2 is at 7 p.m. In this class, we will build on the basic steps of semba and kizomba learnt in the past session. We'll dive into estrelas, saidas, ginga, banga, and musicality.

8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.: The main focus of the class will be openings and leg lifts in Kizomba and UrbanKiz; we'll also touch on body movement and "douceur". We will also be paying closer attention to music and how both lead and follow can connect with it in their dance.

* This is an intermediate/advanced class. Participants must have solid foundations of Kizomba.
