All welcome to an intimate and special night! Come to dance or to listen to the wonderful tunes of the Atlas  Tango  Project. We are so excited to have these musicians  back at  Esquina (where some of  them had  their first tango performances!).

Note that regular  tango classes will go on  as  usual, make sure you join us at 6:30pm (intermediate level) or 7:40pm (beginner level).

About Atlas Tango Project:

The Atlas Tango Project (formerly Austin Piazzolla Quintet) specializes in the music of the late Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla as well as original nuevo tango compositions.  Founded by James Anderson (violin), the Atlast Tango has been performing to captivated audiences since 2009.  

With Jonathan Geer (piano), Ben Thomas (bandoneon), Tony Rogers (cello), and Phil Spencer (bass), all from diverse musical backgrounds, the band continues the tradition of nuevo tango through intense live shows which feature unique arrangements of Piazzolla’s groundbreaking works, breathtaking original compositions, and fiery improvisation.
