New Fusion: DJ Appreciation Night

 

New Fusion is more than just a dance event – it’s a movement. We’re dedicated to growing the fusion scene in Austin by creating the culture we wish to see: a culture of respect, kindness, and growth. Our goal is to build a welcoming space where everyone can feel the music, learn, and connect on the dance floor. We’ll be hosting these monthly fusion events on Friday nights, bringing you the best of what fusion has to offer.

 

But that’s just the beginning! In the new year, we'll be launching Fusion Practicas, where we'll invite top dancers and instructors from other dance genres - Kizomba, Zouk, Blues, WCS, Tango just to name a few - to join us and bring their dance styles, their music, and their dancers to our events. We’re excited to grow this community with you, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

 

 

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

+ DJ Speed Set: Some of Austin’s finest DJs will take turns playing their top 3 favorite tracks, back-to-back. It’s going to be a fast-paced, high-energy set that you won’t want to miss. Get ready to cheer for your favorites!

+ DJ Games: DJ's Delight: Want to have a say in the night’s music? Enter our raffle by writing a word or theme on a ticket. If your ticket is drawn, our DJ will play the perfect song inspired by your entry.

+ Closing DJ Set: To cap off the night, Camille will be spinning a special set to bring us home for an unforgettable dance experience.

 

VENUE

The venue is a SURPRISE! It is located in the Mueller area, and I will post the exact address a few days before the event. Y'all are going to *LOVE* this place!

The venue is also BOYB; please review the Code of Conduct for our alcohol policy.

 

ABOUT NEW FUSION

We’re here to grow the fusion scene in Austin by creating the culture we wish to see. Each month, we’ll be hosting a Friday Night Fusion event focused on inclusivity, respect, and the joy of dance. As we grow, we aim to foster a community that’s rooted in kindness and a passion for learning. And in the new year, get ready for our Fusion Practicas – where we’ll bring in incredible talent from other dance scenes for special events that you won’t want to miss.

At New Fusion, we believe in making our events accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Our sliding scale system allows you to contribute based on what you can afford, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun. When you check in, simply use the keyword that matches your contribution level.
