Latin Nights at The Park

Get your mid-week dance fix with Bick Lick Latin Underground (BLLU) and Kaleidoscope Dance at The Park on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month! DJ Roberto Puente & DJ Perico will be playing a mix of salsa, bachata, kizomba, zouk, merengue, and reggaetón from 8pm to midnight. We’ll also have Happy Hour specials for the first hour during our beginner-friendly dance lesson that you won’t want to miss!

Cost is $5 at the door, and a free coat check is available. Everyone will pass through a metal detector, and bags will be checked at the entrance as The Park’s standard security procedure. No outside water bottles/containers permitted–free water is provided onsite. Stay tuned for details on the Happy Hour specials! 

Never danced before or feeling rusty? No problem! Join Kaleidoscope Dance instructor Malinda’s beginner dance lesson during happy hour! Malinda’s lessons are designed to deepen your understanding of dance concepts that you can practice and explore with multiple genres throughout the night at the BLLU social. Her lessons are also a great opportunity for anyone wishing to learn a dance role (lead/follow) that they have not been able to previously due to harmful gender stereotypes. New, seasoned, solo, and partnered dancers are all welcome! Come dance, socialize, take advantage of Happy Hour, and get to know the Big Lick Latin Underground dance community.
