About our Intermediate Class
The Kiz Lab is known for making good dancers become great dancers. We teach and focus on core concepts and techniques. We have elevated many dancers in the Bay and are well known for our high-level curriculum. We have discovered core concepts within Urban Kiz and teach techniques to ensure that dancers understand the Urban Kiz physically and mentally. We also do exercises like drills, and lab sessions where we play with creative expressions of origin movements. We will be teaching intermediate move on May 17th accompanied by techniques drills and concepts.

What is a taxi dancer? Taxi dancers are experienced dancers who are hand picked to dance with everyone at an event to ensure attendees have an unforgettable time. Ask them to dance!

Jessica Marie
Jessica Marie (she/her) started her dance journey in June 2017 in Texas. She is known for her attention to detail, her ability to break down complex material, and provide individualized feedback even when leading group classes. Her dance students also appreciate her approaches around inclusivity, mindset around consent, and her promoting of safe dance spaces.
Jessica Marie is the owner and creative director of The Kiz Lab LLC. A Black-Owned and minority led Urban Kiz dance organization located in the Bay Area, CA where they host classes, workshops, and events.

Kiz Lab Student | Taxi Team Member:
Armani
Armani (she/her) started dancing with The Kiz Lab in June 2022. She is a creative dancer who loves connecting to the music and adding her own personal flavor to the dance. She is often on the dance floor smiling and making sure people are having a good time. Armani competed in Austin, TX in their Jack and Jill competition where she had a spotlight dance and many referred to her as "The People's Choice." Ask her to dance anytime!
