Future Zouk o Rio Está Vindo ft. Bruna & Felipe 2022

SAVE THE DATE! Bruna & Felipe are returning to the Midwest for the second instance of our Rio Está Vindo weekender, this time including teaching appearances not only in Chicago (Saturday 19 NOV 2022) but also Milwaukee (Sunday 20 NOV 2022)!

 

Get ready for 20+ hours of solid, Brazilian zouk goodness featuring two of the most elite, well-respected instructors on the planet for their very second appearance in the Midwest, Bruna Peçanha & Felipe Lira (Rio de Janeiro, BRA) with support by local and regional favorites soon to be announced. More details and tickets released Sunday 4 SEP 2022; this event will sell out fast; so, save the date and stay tuned!

 

SCHEDULE (2 SEP 2022 DRAFT)
+ FRI 11/18 (8p to 12a) - Optional meet and greet hangout with the artists in Chicago, location TBA.
+ SAT 11/19 (12 to 5p, 9p to 2a) - Total 5 hours all levels to advanced Brazilian zouk workshops with Bruna, Felipe, Just Jacob, and friends followed by 4+ hours of evening social dancing party at Dance Center Chicago of 3868 N Lincoln Ave in Chicago, IL.

+ SUN 11/20 (2 to 7p+) - Total 4 hours of all levels to advanced Brazilian zouk workshops with Bruna, Felipe, Just Jacob, and friends followed by 1-hour practica at Daync Studio of 504 W National Ave Studio A in Milwaukee, WI. Optional afterparty from 7p onwards with the artists in Milwaukee, location TBA.

 

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
+ Attendees are welcome to use masks (or request such from dance partners), but we won't enforce them for this event.

+ All attendees regardless of vaccination status or masking preference must pass a negative COVID test with results no greater than 72 hours before event participation. (Note: PCR, rapid antigen, and saliva tests are all accepted but NOT antibody tests.) There are multiple free and low-cost testing options across Chicago and Milwaukee, and we will have LIMITED rapid self-test kits on site for sale at cost, i.e. $25.

+ Reduced indoor capacity and facilities thoroughly cleaned throughout the event with hand sanitizing encouraged in the event of partner switching.

+ All participant names, emails, and phone numbers are confidentially recorded to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary.
