Freestyle Fridays in Berkeley

One Friday each month (usually on the 3rd Friday, but in March, it is on the 2nd Friday, March 10.

Freestyle dancing means just like it sounds: no choreography, no steps to follow, no formal leader/follower roles...just the invitation/permission to move however you are called.  Solo and/or partner/group dances arise and end organically. There is no talking on the dance floor.

Musically, we strive for a large variety of styles and tempos and will feature a different DJ each time. For March 10,  DJ Flowbliss will be leading the journey. DJ FlowBliss is a musical alchemist who knows how to stir the dance floor. She creates a sonic tapestry that weaves together celestial grooves, tribal world rhythms, funky remixes, down-tempo dance dub, and an eclectic selection of tracks tailored to what the dance floor needs. DJ FlowBliss blends the rhythms of ancient cultures with modern beats, creating a unique sonic landscape.
