Circles vs Lines

Brazilian Zouk is a dance that allows you to use the floor and explore its fundamental patterns in many different ways. One of these ways is making everything linear or circular. The same step can acquire a completely different feel if we just turn it into a circular shape.

In this workshop, we will drill ourselves the techniques and some of the possibilities within the above-mentioned topic. Therefore, this will be a follow-along workshop that doesn't require a partner.

 

We'll see how the same patterns work when done in a line and in a circle and understand what changes are required in order to make such modifications. After drilling some of these patterns and principles we'll then dance them in our classic 15 minutes-long dances, where we get to repeat and let everything sink into our bodies.
