Brazilian Zouk Fall Training with Zouk YYC

What is Brazilian Zouk? 
Brazilian Zouk is a dance infused with the elements of the fire you'd love from Latin dances, the flow + expressiveness of contemporary/classical movements, the swag and attitude from hip hop. This partner dance includes lots of hips, head movements, and connection-based body awareness that is sure to intrigue you!

 

This is a great opportunity to get some exercise in, meet new people, and learn something new!

 

Nov. 4th
Level 1: In this 5-hour Bootcamp + 1 hour Practice, we will teach you Zouk Fundamentals. After this Bootcamp, you will be ready to rock the dance floor!

The Bootcamp will cover Zouk foundations, basic 1, 2, prep, simple turn, and timing/ musicality. After 5 hours of lessons, we will have 1 hour of practice/ Q&A

No Partners/ Experience needed!

3:00pm-4:00pm Meal/Rest Break
4:00pm-7:00pm Part 2 - with Tony and Esther
(Lots of breaks will be provided in between + Bring some snacks )
9pm-1am: Zouk Social

We will cover advance fundamentals and build on your foundations of zouk.
