Blues Underground - February 2023

Welcome back! 
We all know you've been itching to dance Blues again in Seattle. Blues Underground is starting refreshed after the long Covid sleep. Rejuvenated, we are excited to kick off the opening night with a BANG. 

We have Grey Armstrong as a guest instructor and Dj for the night!

Two classes!
Grey's pick 7:30-8:30
Beginners lesson 8:30-9:30
Then an extra long night of dance, till 1am! Oh gosh! 
It's going to be a party!

Admission for the night $12-20, sliding scale. 
$20 helps us keep future BUG events going strong. 
$15 helps us break even. 
$12 helps us get you dancing. 

About Grey:
Dance Bio:

Grey found blues dancing long ago when dancing with his grandfather as a child. At university he found others doing a dance similar to what he knew, and clung to the familiar music. Grey is internationally known for innovative classes, deep cultural context, an intuitive learning style. Leaving students with a lingering feeling they have been changed beyond just dance. He loves to challenge students physically but also intellectually and emotionally, with his experience based teaching.

Dj Bio:

For as long as he can remember, Grey has been obsessed with music. He loves digging into obscure genres, find ways to appreciate them and share those with others. Not long into his dance career, Grey became excited about Djing because it was a way for him to directly influence the feel of an event. It’s a way to explore new music, moods and his love of blues. He can’t wait to share that with you and hopefully, make you fall in love with music and dance all over again.
