Augusta Tango 1 Year Anniversary

 

One year ago, Augusta Tango took its first steps, and what a journey it’s been! On Tuesday, December 17, we’re pulling out all the stops to commemorate this incredible milestone with an unforgettable night of tango, music, and celebration. We’re thrilled to welcome special visiting teachers Jael Montilla and Jesus Aranguren, who will bring their passion and expertise to make this event even more extraordinary with a workshop and performance. Whether you’ve been part of the community from the start or are just discovering the joy of Argentine Tango, this event is for YOU! Let’s come together to dance, connect, and celebrate the vibrant community we’ve built.

Tuesday, December 17th

WORKSHOP (7:00-8:00 PM): Elevate your tango skills with Jael Montilla and Jesus Aranguren, Argentine Tango USA competition winners! Lesson will focus on variations in smooth and sharp movements. They will also be enticing us with a wonderful performance!

MILONGA (8:15-11:00 PM): Dance the evening away with DJ Dragon - Ken Broom!

Dress fancy! The evening will include a raffle. You’ll receive a bonus raffle ticket if you wear something festive for the holidays!

Beverages and light snacks provided. Optional meal: $20 (must be ordered by Dec 3). More information below.
