🤓 Anyone curious how Brazilian Zouk and Argentine Tango can intermingle? The body mechanics and close embrace are incredibly similar. 🥰

😍 If you have some Brazilian Zouk experience, and want to add on a little flare to your dance, this is your chance immerse yourself into a little bit of Argentine Tango. And for Argentine Tango dancers, you can learn a little Brazilian Zouk and see how they might be similar and different to create new dynamics in your own dance too!

🇧🇷 Brazilian Zouk happens to be one of the advanced ballroom dances taught in Brazil, after learning other dances like Fogo, Soltinho (similar to swing), and Bolero. It stems out of Lambada after Lambada was outcast due to DJ’s upset over it being such a tourist attraction, but is danced to slower Caribbean music (not to be confused with Caribbean Zouk) and now incorporates elements of hip hop, ballet, modern and many other dances.

🔥 Argentine Tango provides an incredible ability to create close embrace, subtle leads and body movements, playing with torsion of the spine and beautiful leg styling. Its techniques and movements can easily complement any dance and condition the body for a better understanding of how it can be used for subtle connections and lead or follow enhanced flourishes!

🎶 One of our favorite things about this dance is its ability to be flexible and danced to many styles of music, or and whose techniques and flow can be incorporated into many other styles of dance as well. 🎵

❤️‍🔥 Hope to see you there!
