Tay has been dancing for over 20 years and trained in many styles including jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, modern, contemporary, and flamenco. But, in 5th grade, she found her true calling; belly dance/Raqs Sharqi. Tay began her belly dancing training in Brownsville, Tx, and took her first workshop with Karen Barbee in Mcallen, Tx. From there, she continued her dance training at local studios and proceeded to study dance her first two years of college at UTPA in Edinburg, Tx.
Dance is what fills my soul and makes me come alive. I have always believed in creating a community of people who love the power of movement as much as I do, and this is my main goal as a dedicated teacher and coach.
