Ross started dancing back in 2018, as a way to switch focus and develop a new hobby and skill after dealing with significant shoulder injuries from other competitive athletics. 

After moving to Phoenix in 2019, he dove all in and joined Que Candela Dance Company in 2020 and has since travelled across the United States performing, teaching, and dancing. 

Drawing from his experience in a multitude of styles as members of Que Candela Dance Company, Ross and his partner Jahaira Vera have launched Saltandi Dance, a dedicated Urban Kiz Team.

Currently, they teach locally in Phoenix with other instructors as a collaborative group called Desert Kiz and have brought their shows and instruction on the road to other festivals and events across the country.
