Originally from the St. Louis, MO area, Korey came to the DFW Metroplex in 2018 and started dancing Salsa and Bachata in 2019. Shortly after, he was introduced to the Dallas Kizomba scene. In 2021, he entered the world of Brazilian Zouk. After several years of learning under some of the best instructors in Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Brazilian Zouk, Korey decided to put his musical background to good use and started training to be a DJ in 2023. By April 2023, Korey played at his first social and DJ KC was born.

Having collaborated with and DJ'd for artists like Iago & Vanessa, Luis & Karen, Eugene "Tin Man" Cleveland and Lucas & Thayna, DJ KC is an up-and-coming dancer and DJ in the Dallas Kizomba and Zouk scenes. With a fusion of Kizomba, Zouk, and beyond, KC's music invites listeners to feel the energy and lose themselves on the dancefloor. From sultry melodies to pulsating bass lines, every track is meticulously curated to ignite passion and elevate the soul. From the first beat to the last, DJ KC has only one goal: bring the vibes.
