Anna Hoekstra

Anna is an Australian dancer who has been teaching Brazilian Zouk since 2018. Initially a Salsa and Bachata teacher Anna fell in love with the Zouk comunity and dance style and switched her Professional goals around very quickly. Since begining her international career Anna has taught in more than 20 countries across Europe ,North and South America and Australia. In 2022 Anna taught in Brasil, in portugues at the first Embrazouk congress as well as teaching in multiple cities across Brasil throughout the first half of 2022. 

Known for her in depth and analytical approach to class syllabus Anna works to incorporate as much detail into classes as possible while delivering complex content in an easily understandable format.

With more than ten years experience as a circus performer and a science degree majoring in Human Anatomy Anna's teaching is focused on structure and function as well as efficiency in movement.
