Al Rivera has been dancing to traditional Dominican rhythms in home since the age of 5. He was later introduced to Salsa with Mamboki while stationed overseas in the Marine Corps. 
Al went on to train and perform with several teams and dance companies to include Mamoki, Los Anormales, Yamulee Project and other teams and partnerships of his own. He began dancing with Clara Ramos in 2022 where they continue teach and perform Salsa and Bachata and reintroduce their passion, Merengue,  into the dance event circuit.
